At Tomms Property Solutions we have heard countless stories from people that have called us. Everything from taking off after receiving a down payment or deciding half way through the work that they’re just going to stop showing up, ultimately leaving the homeowner out money and a project that still needs to be done. We are no longer surprised by the stories we hear from homeowners. When we started Tomms, our mission was simple – have the homeowners back and be a service provider that homeowners can trust without thinking twice.

Here are some examples of what it’s like working with Tomms and some horror stories as well.

A few months ago we got a call from a homeowner in Minneapolis that was redoing there roof, they put there deposit down with a contractor they found and months and months went by and nothing happened. He kept trying to reach out to them with no response. Eventually the calls and texts stop going through one day and he came to the unfortunate realization that he was out his money and a new roof. I want to note that of course there are good contractors out there, but the amount of horror stories we have heard over the years (big or small) are alarming and not ok.

Another one from this August in Champlin, a homeowner was having her drywall installed in her garage and the contractor hadn’t came back to finish in a couple weeks and kept saying he would be back. She got tired of waiting and thought that the work was spotty at best. We got on site within a few days and completed the work. She informed us that our technician that she worked with was great. It was refreshing for her to have a positive experience after the one she just had.   Now, we are no way perfect at Tomms, human error is inevitable and has happened. However, what is different is we will always try to make it right with our customers. Whether they need us to come back out to do any touchups on projects or a partial refund if we did not perform the services in the agreement. We have never and will never run off with a homeowners money and we will always try to make every service we provide perfect.
